Full day (training) workshops for program directors and international office staff are offered to all universities regardless of membership. The workshop deals with curriculum development, legal, financial, quality assurance and accreditation aspects and includes an interactive case study. Its first run took place at the EAIE Conference in Trondheim in 2007, and it has become a regular CIDD activity.
Training workshops on pedagogical and didactical issues about international business education are offered to member universities exclusively. They are based on the experience made through the consortium’s international programs and courses and focus on teaching a culturally diverse student groups for whom English is a foreign language.

Participants in the International Summer Practicum will learn about American business practices, economy, and culture from a global perspective. They will attend a series of seminars that are
presented by Coastal Carolina University faculty, meet students from other European universities, and engage in fun activities like golf lessons and a visit to Brookgreen Gardens, which has the largest collection of American sculptures in the world. Students will also work with local organizations on a consulting project, which they will present at the end of the program.
The program’s fee of 1.650 USD and includes lodging on campus, 10 meals per week, all the classes and all the activities. Students are responsible for paying for their flight to the US and may wish to rent a car in groups during the program.

The consortium supports international conferences at member universities which deal with international business education. For example, the two-day conference “The Next Decade Challenges for Business” held at the Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA) was co-sponsored by CIDD, and the conference proceedings published jointly.
Scholarship supporting Double Degree students

CIDD General Assembly Meeting
CIDD holds a General Assembly meeting once a year where all members are invited. The GA meeting 2022 is held on June 13th – June 16th at Karlstad University in Karlstad, Sweden.
CIDD Board Meeting
CIDD Board meetings are held at least twice a year. 2021 Board meetings were held 18 January, 15 April and 24 November.
