CIDD Summer Programs 2023


Coastal Carolina University Summer Program

South Carolina, USA

The program provides students from its partner institutions the opportunity to learn about U.S. business practices, economy, and culture. Participants learn about the U.S. business environment from a global perspective and improve their English oral and written skills. Students also complete a consulting report for a European company that could expand to the USA. The participants present their reports at the end of the program.

HAN University of Applied Sciences Summer Schools

Arnhem, The Netherlands

HAN International School of Business offers two summer schools:

European Culture, Business & Entrepreneurship:
During this 3-wek program, you get to know Dutch and other European cultures. You also learn about European business policies and practices and develop the personal competences you need to do business in Europe. More information is available at: link.

Rosenheim Summer Schools

Technische Hochschule Rosenheim offers two summer schools:

Bachelor Summer School on Business Ethics (26 June – 2 July 2023)

  • How can you do business responsibly? Study major theories and practise specific cases on emission scandals, financial frauds, responsibilities of tech companies and more.

The Hague Summer School

The Hague, The Netherlands
3 – 28 July 2023

Are you interested in looking at global issues from an interdisciplinary perspective? Would you like to work together in international teams to develop your cross-cultural competences while making new friends and having fun?

The Hague Summer School in the Netherlands is a cutting-edge two or four week modular programme, offering courses on crucial issues such as peace, justice and human rights (in the context of European Union cooperation and international relations), the impact of global migration and current trends in finance and economics. The practical application of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals is the common theme that forms the fundament of our summer programme.

CIDD General Assembly Meeting

CIDD holds a General Assembly meeting once a year where all members are invited. The  GA meeting 2023 is held on June 13th – June 14th at the University of Valencia in Valencia, Spain.


CIDD Board Meeting

CIDD Board meetings are held at least twice a year. In 2022 Board meetings were held 25 March and 10 November.


Scholarship supporting Double Degree students

CIDD supports students who study a Double Degree program in which one partner institution is a CIDD member.  For the current call of scholarship consult the News section.


ONLINE Workshops

The CIDD offers online workshops on topical issues in the field of higher education. These workshops are free and open to anyone. Recent topics featured in the workshops include higher education’s societal impact, leadership and diversity, ERS (ethics, responsibility and sustainability), and AACSB & EFMD accreditations.


Student Conferences

The consortium supports international conferences at member universities which deal with international business education. For example, the two-day conference “The Next Decade Challenges for Business” held at the Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA) was co-sponsored by CIDD, and the conference proceedings published jointly.
