ONLINE Workshops

The CIDD offers online workshops on topical issues in the field of higher education. These workshops are free and open to anyone.

CIDD is excited to invite you to join this highly topical webinar on practical introduction to GenAI in teaching and learning. Through research and real-world examples, the presenters will explore ways to help students use GenAI tools effectively in their studies. At the same time, AI enables automation; its true potential lies in enhancing the student learning experience.

Webinar: Should AI-Generated Avatars replace corporate trainers?
CIDD welcomes you to join a webinar on the emerging research and practices using talking-head training videos with AI-generated avatars that look and sound indistinguishable from human instructors. Participants will compare traditional studio versus AI-generated workflows to understand how differences in production overhead present compelling rationales for avatar adoption. Findings will be presented from new studies examining the impact of AI avatars on learner achievement and attitude outcomes, followed by a discussion of viability in specific use cases.

CIDD General Assembly Meeting

CIDD holds a General Assembly meeting once a year where all members are invited. The GA meeting 2024 is held on June 10th – June 12th at the Hague University of Applied Sciences in The Hague, Netherlands.


CIDD Board Meeting

CIDD Board meetings are held at least twice a year. In 2024 Board meetings were held 19 March, 23 October, and 20 December.


Scholarship supporting Double Degree students

CIDD supports students who study a Double Degree program in which one partner institution is a CIDD member.  For the current call of scholarship consult the News section.


Student Conferences

The consortium supports international conferences at member universities which deal with international business education. For example, the two-day conference “The Next Decade Challenges for Business” held at the Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA) was co-sponsored by CIDD, and the conference proceedings published jointly.
