Changes in CIDD Statutes

Articles 5 (admission criteria and procedures) and article 11 (delegations of votes) of the CIDD statutes were changed by the assembly on June 7, 2010. In detail:

Article 5 Admission – Amended by adding the following statement to the end of the current article:  “Admission criteria and procedures will be reviewed every 3 years by the General Assembly.”

Article 11 General Assembly – Amended by replacing current Article with the following:  “The General Assembly meets at least once a year.  A simple majority of the full members is required to conduct business.  Each member is entitled to one vote.  Non-attending members may delegate their vote to attending members by written notice to the President prior to the meeting.  A simple majority of those present, physically or by proxy, is required to pass any motion.  The President chairs the General Assembly meetings.  The President may delegate the chair to any member of the board.”
